What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Repair Tech (FT) position at Staffing Solutions.?
We have an immediate opening for an entry level repair tech for a printing/distribution company in Riverside. The position is temp to hire and ideal candidates should be quick learners with some computer experience. looking for someone eager to learn. will be taught on the job. Hours are 7 to 7:30am Monday through Friday and pay rate is $17.50 to start.
Job Description:
- Full-time position is responsible for installing printer options, testing, and configuring thermal printers.
- Diagnose/ Troubleshoot issues when configuring printers and replace parts as needed.
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure the printers are in good working conditions before packaging.
- Verify all materials stated on the work order are in place at the time of starting a job.
- Record product information of worked performed on printers.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Work schedule is Monday to Friday. Possible overtime during month end.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical/ electronic experience but not necessary as we can train on the job.
- Have a desire to learn.
- Ability to troubleshoot/ investigate issues when doing installation of parts.
- Must demonstrate aptitude to work in a team environment.
- Computer experience to enter information on work completed.
