What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Staffmark Group?
Growing medical supply manufacturer is looking for a Staff Accountant. This is a contract opportunity. The Staff Accountant would be responsible for assisting the Controller with AP/AR, transaction entries, account reconciliation and maintain fixed asset records. You would collaborate on special projects and assist in gathering info. required by auditors.
They are a dynamic organization and you would be an integral part of developing and implementing procedural changes and modifications to the finance team. They are a tenured team that provides the ability to learn and grow. Competitive salary and benefits offered during contract duration. This position does require to be onsite.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related preferred
- Previous experience with AP/AR, entries and account reconciliation
- Cost Accounting experience within a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Advanced Excel to include pivot tables and V Lookups
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize and work under time constraints
