Job Title : Japanese Bilingual Store Manager
Location : Portland, OR (Downtown)
Work hour : Shift work, 8 working hours / day, 5 days / week including weekend and holidays.
Classification : Non-Exempt, full-time, direct hire
An international retail company is seeking a Japanese bilingual store manager for their store in Portland, OR. Reporting to the regional executive, this position is responsible for the entire store management, including supervising employees and managing store operations.
Qualified candidates must be fluent in Japanese and have a minimum of 3 years of retail store management experience.
Responsibilities :
Manage store operations, ensuring all procedures are correctly handled based on company compliance standards.
Manage store employees, including training, assigning, and scheduling shifts.
Create a positive store culture that demonstrates the values of the company.
Ensure a consistent, seamless, and positive customer experience.
Develop and arrange promotional material and in-store displays.
Prepare sales reports and attend manager meetings.
Troubleshoot customer service issues, including returns and complaints.
Support HR operations, such as managing vacations and pay calculations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese at a business level.
Minimum of 3 years of retail store management experience required.
Basic to intermediate MS Office skills.
