UX Research Manager
Position Summary:
The UX Research Manager assists the Cross-Category Insights Lead on uncovering opportunity areas to improve the customer experience on company website. Position is responsible for executing qualitative and quantitative research that provide actionable insights in supporting ecommerce, digital marketing, and other digital business function’s strategy development.
This manager position supports all Categories and its relevant digital functions, and reports into Cross-Category Insights Lead within Corporate Marketing & Communications organization.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with key stakeholder to understand business issues and specific questions to address
• Manage the assigned primary research (quantitative and qualitative) project, end-to-end:
o Develop comprehensive research brief and analytics plan with key stakeholders
o Recommend best research methodology to address the business questions
o Develop research guide/questionnaire and execute the research
o Delivery strong insights reports in PowerPoint and recommendations
Requirements:
• Strong business acumen
• Consumer research capability using both qualitative and quantitative analytics methodology
o Experience conducting in house consumer research using in-house tools (e.g. UserTesting, etc.)
o Experience conducting own qualitative 1-on-1 interviews for .com UX improvements, including assessment & reporting, script development, and moderation.
o The candidate would have experience in both unmoderated and moderated testing and across different models to include survey tools, usability testing, validation and card sorting.
• Strong communication skills, with ability to write own executive summaries from research he/she conducted
• Highly collaborative personal attitude
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in marketing or business or related fields
• 5 years consumer research experience in research design, questionnaire development and analytics competency
• Digital marketing and website research experience strongly preferred
• Mix of research agency and brand side experience preferred
• Some technology industry research experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Candidate will be asked to show past deliverables / reports
