What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Staffmark?
Do you have at least two years of machine operator experience and are ready for the next step in your career? Staffmark has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to fill a CNC Machinist position for a family-owned manufacturing company in Tipp City, OH, with over 40 years of experience providing machining, manufacturing, and engineering services.
Pay: $17 per hour, based on experience.
1st Shift Hours: 6 am - 2:30 pm, Monday-Friday
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts.
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks.
- Inspect machined products and document results.
- Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
- Load parts, cycle the machine, and detect malfunctions in machine operations.
- Run production lots and communicate production runs.
- Assist other work areas to perform fabrication, lay-up, infiltration, furnace operation, and sandblasting tasks.
- Follow prescribed safety procedures and maintain a clean/safe work environment.
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds required.
