The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, performing repairs, and scheduling maintenance work for all equipment, including forklifts. In this role, the Maintenance Technician will analyze and diagnose equipment, recommend the correct repair actions, make appropriate repairs, perform schedule maintenance, follow all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies, document each service, observe all safety procedures, maintain the company vehicle, secure, and maintain service and parts inventory, provide personal tools desired to effectively perform equipment service duties, and kept the work area clean and hazard-free.
Shift Details:
* 5 AM-1:30 PM, Monday-Friday
* Temp-to-hire.
This position requires a minimum of 3 years related experience or training with mechanical electrical and hydraulic equipment, experience with repairing forklifts, technical or mechanical training certifications preferred, and a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will need to have above-average communication skills, able to understand the necessary service and training manuals, ability to interpret schematics and effectively use electrical diagnostic instruments, and can safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes. Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, and walk for prolonged periods while being able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
