Medical Biller Assistant
Hours:
Monday – Friday
8:00am until 4:30pm with participation in a holiday rotation
Pay:
$19.00 to $23.00 depending on experience
Benefits:
- Temp to Hire Assignment
- Benefits once hired on
- Weekly Pay
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Keeps accurate records of all transactions.
- Data entry and Typing
- Answering incoming patient calls.
- Taking payments, working with denials, charges and accounts receivables
- Having reliable transportation to and from work
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have either an Associates or Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent
- At least 1 year of direct Medical Billing experience is required. Please do not apply if you do not have this.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Comply with all office procedures and standards
- Ability to remain confidential in all business transactions
- Must demonstrate safe working habits, the ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a culturally diverse workplace.
- Ability to bend and/or crouch, sit for long periods of time, reach and lift 20 -35 pounds.
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
