Driver, Event Set up & Warehouse Crew Members
We are looking for motivated and personable team members who can take initiative and are passionate. The ability to thrive in a team environment and work well with others is essential. Positions available for truck drivers who will lead small crews for project deliveries and set up, and in-house warehouse members to pull, store and handle products safely and efficiently.

We are an event rental company. If you have ever worked for an events company you know it is hard work, no set schedules and variation in times. We are looking for energetic candidates who can come in at 9am one day, 6am the next, and possibly 3pm the next day. The event industry is hard to work for, just because the hours you work are sporadic, however it can be very rewarding.

We are a growing company and each year we grow a little more so we are constant need for good quality workers. We are not looking for just a driver, we are looking for leaders. Someone who will be able to address and fix a challenging situation, someone who is going to motivate their team to perform on top of their highest level.

Here is a list of the minimum job requirements;

• Prepare with team before each shift, ensuring your truck is fully loaded and ready for delivery
• Contact the clients before arrival to keep with a good form of communication
• mark off items as they are offloaded to ensure all items are present
• perform a walk through with the client to ensure are pieces are present and in good working order
• taking pictures of items on delivery or pick up, reporting any damage to management
• gasing up vehicles
• cleaning vehicles of any trash
• turning in all paperwork to its appropriate place
• ensuring all vehicles are in good working order by performing a vehicle walk around
• reporting any safety issues to management

We are looking for strong candidates who have a great personality, strong work ethics, willing to work any hours, willing to work overtime, always here and on time, and who is looking to grow into other potential roles.

Truck Drivers Needed (No CDL required)

Specialized, Manhattan based Home Staging as well as Event Planning and Prop Rental Company with warehouse in Newark is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented driver/delivery person and warehouse worker. Our rental inventory includes an extensive array of stylish furniture ranging from shaped banquettes, ottomans and illuminated service bars to name a few. Our services include, but are not limited to, full event production from concept to finished product.(Must have valid drivers license and must have experience driving trucks in NYC-- Drivers based in Newark area preferred.)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Delivering and pick up of furniture, artwork and other merchandise to residential and commercial locations.

• Assist on offloading and loading merchandise from/onto delivery trucks

• Examine all incoming and outgoing shipments for damage. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.

• Take inventory of stored merchandise -- count and record number of items picked up and sent out.

• Restock pick up items in their designated storage areas and update inventory accordingly.

• Work with clients floor plans to set up furniture.

• Reviewing all packing slips with clients before job is complete and get sign off.

• Ensure warehouse/equipment is maintained on a regular basis.

• Keeping work areas and trucks clean and safe.

• Warehouse cleaning and organizing

• Some occasional maintenance person work: painting, furniture assembly, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Strong communication skills; written and verbal

• Must have valid driver's license

• Experience working in similar industry; loading and unloading of merchandise a plus

• Extreme attention to detail and organization skills.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Work collaboratively with a team

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure

• Ability to work flexible hours a must

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
