Inventory Control Analyst

The Materials Management team at Stamford Hospital is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst. The Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible for the overall functionality of systems within Materials Management, specifically the Stamford Health Medical Group (SHMG) supply chain operations. They will work directly with the Supply Chain Project Manager to execute project updates and keep the SHMG materials in order.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with implementing and maintaining changes within the organizations systems and operations. This position will facilitate new product additions/deletions and transitions based on weekly communication updates from the Materials Management Team.

This is a Full-time/Onsite position 7:00 am-3:00 pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, inspect, count, and note any discrepancies on incoming freight. Record quantities received, stock storeroom shelves, and create requisitions for storeroom replenishment.
• System Inventory maintenance within supply locations around SHMG practices.
• Assist SHMG requisitioners with any issues or questions they might have about materials or the ordering process and that their orders are delivered timely and accurately.
• Work with Project Manager and Logistics Manager on projects for the Materials Department in all areas of the Hospital.
• Communicating with all areas of Materials Management to ensure smooth transactions, updates, and revisions to current process.
