What you'll be doing:
- Process vendor invoices, company credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements accurately and efficiently adhering to company policies and procedures. Maintain vendor records and process Annual 1099s.
- Generate Customer Invoices, Credit Memos, cash applications, reconcile revenue and AR assist in collections as necessary. Maintain updated customer agreements and any revenue share agreements.
- Take responsibility for all daily GL, AR/AP functions.
- Prepare month-end accounting activities which include journal entries, account reconciliations, maintaining supporting schedules, and review of all BS and P&L accounts.
- Review and reconcile Sales Tax accounts to Avalara, as well as assist in sales tax registration for new states and work with Avalara for Monthly/Quarterly Sales Tax Filings.
- Assist in calculating commissions and bonuses and maintain updated agreements.
- Provide direct support to the Accounting Manager for audits, special accounting analysis, budget preparation or forecasts, and other projects as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
- 2 years related accounting and external reporting experience
- Experience with Netsuite preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP
- You are a strong team player who can also work with minimal supervision
- Superior attention to detail, advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels
- The base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
