What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst 2/datacove Manager position at Stanford University?
The Stanford Psychiatry Center for Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing is seeking Data Analyst 2 to administer and support the data systems and procedures for the groundbreaking allcove pilot program. This position will serve as a lead member of the team developing and implementing pilots of allcove -integrated 'one stop shop' youth mental health centers in the Bay Area, statewide and nationally. Modeled off of successful international models, the pilots will create stand-alone, integrated care sites for young people ages 12-25 to access early mental health, physical health, substance use counseling, peer support, and education and employment resources all under one roof. With the guidance and support of a community consortium and youth advisory board, these programs seek to improve young people's mental, social, and emotional wellbeing through the provision of high quality, integrated, age-appropriate, low to no cost care for teenagers, young adults, and their families.
The datacove manager will be a core member of the team, working with community partners to implement a new data collection system, extracting and analyzing data to determine pilot outcomes. These responsibilities will involve navigating complex service pathways, working with multiple established and new data systems, and challenging the status quo by designing and implementing new approaches with key stakeholders in the community.
Other responsibilities will include ongoing refinements and adaptations to the datacove (the data collection instruments and questionnaires presented to both young people and service providers) and providing technical assistance to support the implementation of integrated youth mental health center pilots in counties throughout California and the U.S.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, problem-solver and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously. They will be innovative, flexible, detail-oriented, creative, resourceful, self-motivated, and solutions-focused. They will have excellent communication skills, experience working within complex clinical systems, ideally in a community facing role, and be able to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals and organizations.
