The Job:
As a GIS Administrator, you'll be part of our Tools & Outdoor Analytics Team as a virtual employee. This role supports, maintains and grows the GIS Department by working on projects and use cases that will streamline workflows and bring data visualization to the forefront. The candidate will build and maintain interactive self-service GIS tools for the stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining the spatial data and the GIS enterprise solution.
You'll also get to:
- Manage the Esri enterprise GIS system by working with IT and esri on troubleshooting, best practices, and upgrades

Automate data processes using scripts (python / SQL) and/or Alteryx

Create high-quality GIS applications (experience builder, web maps, web apps, story maps, dashboards) using standard GIS techniques and cartographic best practices with a firm understanding of symbology layers, styles, layout templates, and company workflows.

Maintain a variety of internal and external datasets within geodatabases and SQL databases.

Develop and maintain an accurate global geocoded database of facilities, suppliers, and customers.

Interact with internal business units to support database management and data visualization.

Work with a senior manager and business unit leads to maintain exceptional end-user experience

Work cross-functionally to create an insightful geospatial analysis for Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for our Tools & Outdoor sector.

Complete ad hoc projects, reporting, and complex spatial analytics
The Person:

- Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field, MS preferred

5 years of GIS experience working in a multifaceted organizations (supply chain, retail, healthcare, government, etc.)
- Proficiency in GIS concepts and experience in ESRI's ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Business Analyst, and extensions

Ability to develop web maps, web apps, story maps, and dashboards

Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, Geodatabases, and relational databases
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Alteryx, and PowerBI

Experience in the use of Business Analyst, including project design, report/infographic builder, and current product offerings

Experience with Network Analyst and Spatial Analyst extensions

Collaborate with other groups and departments directly to ensure a successful project implementation
