Stant sells directly to the OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive and industrial markets with key customers that include Ford, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler, Daimler, Hyundai, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Plastic Omnium, Detroit Diesel, and Harley Davidson. Stant has vending, engineering, and manufacturing presence in the US, Mexico, China, and Europe. Revenues in 2017 were $300M and employment topped 1200 associates. Stant is headquartered in Connersville, IN, and has a growing satellite office in Rochester Hills, MI.

 

Account Manager Key Functions:
• Participate in the development and execution of a strategic business plan.

• Manage the project initiation through the preparation of customer business proposals, presentations & technical reviews ensuring compliance with customer and company objectives.

• Provide commercial interface between Stant and O.E as well other assigned customers.

• Provide management regular feedback on key customer program activities, issues, industry insight & customer & product profitability.

• Bring closure of open commercial issues for all aspects of the assignment within 30 days.

 

Qualifications:

• B.S./B.A. degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Seven to ten years Tier I and/or Tier II automotive O.E. business development and or technical experience.
• Experience with O.E automotive is a must.
• Working knowledge of automotive fuel valves, evaporative emission carbon canisters & filler pipes, SCR Systems, and or thermal management cooling systems preferred.
• Required PC skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Ability to utilize team concepts, along with solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
