Summary
While upholding the Star Valley Health mission, vision and values this key position provides primary technical support for internal employees. Provides end-user training and performs other related duties as assigned. This is an “at will” position.
Job Duties
· Process IT trouble tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
· Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
· Works with employees to clearly identify and resolve hardware, software, and service related problems.
· Resolves and/or escalates employee problems or system wide problems in a timely manner.
· Trains employees on software applications, systems, and services.
· Setup new employee accounts and provide training
· Maintains systems support, and archiving procedures, performs daily server tape backups.
· Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
· Documents and maintains the company’s software and computer hardware inventories.
· Schedules and performs routine maintenance equipment activities, minimizing impact to end-users.
· Assists in research, application and recommendation of new technologies and products.
· Participate in IT on-call schedule
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Abilities & Skills:
· Working knowledge of Internet, email systems, telecommunications and data communications
· Standard operating systems, software packages, and software utilities
· Proper records maintenance and storage for local and distributed environments
· Strong multi-tasking skills with the ease of changing directions upon requirements and need
· Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience & Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
· One year of experience of operating, maintaining, upgrading and configuring PC hardware, software and associated peripheral equipment.
· Applicable IT related certifications and equivalent years of experience are acceptable.
Salary : $22 - $32
