Job Summary:
Our company is seeking an experienced and qualified electrician to join our team. The electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components within residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of electrical theory, the National Electric Code, and safety practices.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components within residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Interpret and apply National Electric Code regulations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to coordinate installations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a formal electrician apprenticeship program required.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience working as an electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
