Job Description: Parts Clerk
Manage incoming goods including lab chemicals, supplies, and parts (other than bulk).
Procuring inventory items based upon predetermined set levels.
Maintain supply room.
Responsibilities:
- Receive items and make Goods Received Note’ (GRN) in SAP
- Place goods in stock (excluding lab items), and notify intended parties upon receipt
- Verify that Invoices, Packing Slips and Purchase Orders are matching
- Verify current Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on file for incoming chemicals
- Daily checking of received invoices, scanning invoices, sending receipts to Global Business Services (GBS) for invoice processing. Clarifying invoice issues with GBS
- Requesting quotations
- Creating Purchase Requests and placing orders
- Control flow of items out of supply room
- Ship and receive equipment/parts for cleaning/repair/rebuilding.
- Maintain plant janitorial and office supplies.
- ·Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Two years' related experience; High school diploma or GED required. Experience with SAP not required but a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.40 - $23.00 per hour
