What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Analytics Lead position at Starry?

What you’ll do:
- Develop a deep understanding of the business problems related to marketing and customer acquisition/retention
- Own analyses end to end from scoping to execution to delivery
- Build dashboards and automated reporting to track success of marketing initiatives and KPIs (e.g. ROAS)
- Create a scalable attribution model to inform channel strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of online and offline acquisition channel efficacy and work with the marketing team to strategize around spend optimization
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics engineering to automate data ingestion related to marketing
- Proactively identify the most valuable problems for the Analytics team to solve
- Support the business with ad hoc reporting
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience
- Expert level knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with at least one of the major BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Periscope)
- Familiar with modern data stack such as DBT, Snowflake, Looker etc.
- Experience working with online and offline marketing data and creating attribution models
- Demonstrated track record of project ownership and working in an autonomous environment
- Ability to communicate findings to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Enthusiasm for conducting reproducible analysis; we believe in code review, version control, and solid documentation
- Ability to successfully prioritize the projects that will have the greatest business impact
- Familiarity with a scripting language is a plus, Python preferred
