Job Responsibilities
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings.
- Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials.
- Develop paid media strategy.
- Build and optimize paid search and paid social accounts.
- Monitor and analyze trends.
- Actively test and analyze keywords, ad copy, landing pages across various paid media platforms to drive results in line with company goals.
- Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO and paid media strategy.
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts.
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO and paid media strategy performance.
- Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
- Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with company goals.
- Generate new paid search / social campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of new paid search and social media marketing initiatives.
- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance company goals.
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO and paid media campaigns
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
- Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
- 1 – 2 years experience in paid acquisition platforms.
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools.
- Experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (AdWords, Yahoo, Bing).
- AdWords / Bing certification a plus.
- Experience working with popular social media ad platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn).
- BS/BA degree preferred.
