Responsibilities
We are seeking detail oriented, customer service focused and very reliable individuals to join our Life Response Center team!
- The Life Response Center Representatives assist our customers and State Farm Agents in servicing and handling our State Farm Life Insurance Policies.
- We work in a fast-paced environment, using dual monitors and take 50-100 inbound calls and online chats daily.
- Life Response Center Representatives utilize online resources and critical thinking skills to answer questions regarding financial service, application processing and service transactions in a non-word-track environment.
- Our Teams provide application and policy status while also processing financial service transaction.
Additional Information:
Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need.
- Hybrid (work from home/in office environment)
- In office commitment is 5 consecutive/assigned days per month (subject to change)
- Paid training starting May 15, 2023
- In-office dates in May are May 15th - May 19th
- In-office dates in June and beyond are TBD
- Training occurs Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM (local time)
- Work shifts are typically assigned near the end of training, and associates may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular work hours as business needs dictate
- Most schedules include a rotating Saturday approximately every 2 months (Saturday shifts are typically 3.5 hours)
- Associates will be assigned a shift between the hours of 8:15 AM - 6:30 PM, Local Time, Monday - Friday
- Shift schedules are typically in place for approximately 6-9 months
- Full-time work schedules are 38:45 hours per week, eligible for over-time pay for time worked over 40 hours
- At-home, stable internet connectivity is required
New team members are eligible for other opportunities at State Farm after 12 months of service. Exceptions may be considered for promotional opportunities.

Qualifications
Our Life Response Center Representatives demonstrate the following skills in their day-to-day work:
- Knows where to find answers and serves as a technical and procedural resource to assist in resolving policy and/or policyholder questions
- Maintains and updates policyholder records through attention to detail (e.g., Change of address, change in policy coverage, etc.)
- Communicates clearly and professionally through remarkable customer service skills
- Handles multiple computer applications (i.e., Microsoft Office) while maintaining quality records in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
