About State Cleaning:
State Cleaning Solutions, a rapidly growing sales and service provider to the hospitality and healthcare marketplace, designs, implements and maintains cleaning and sanitation programs. Our customers include restaurants, hotels, care homes and institutions among many others. State Cleaning supplies the equipment and chemicals needed to ensure customer and guest satisfaction, then backs up our programs with an extensive 24/7 service network.
Achieve sales objectives through effective leadership in recruiting, hiring and firing (as needed), and developing sales associates. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales and product training using company tools / materials, account development and territory planning, providing positive motivation. Regional Sales Managers report to the EVP Sales.
Responsibilities
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and profit goals
• Staff the sales organization with the right people
• Field supervision and development of new and veteran sales associates
• Maintains and upgrades sales management team by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job performance
• Maintains and updates strategic and tactical field level action plans
• Establish clear regional goals and sales targets through business and territory planning
• Reinforce and support corporate policies and guidelines in a consistent, professional company manner
• Manage large regional accounts in conjunction with local management
• Act as a resource for, and lead, high-level selling opportunities
• Act as a liaison between field sales and company headquarters
• Complete paperwork necessary to fulfill position responsibilities
• Commitment to understanding and self-education of key markets, new developments and technologies
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years sales management experience
• History of successfully managing a large, geographically dispersed team of sales professionals
• Comprehensive understanding of repetitive, call-cycle based selling
• Proven ability to drive new sales growth
• Train and coach direct sales representatives during the selling and planning processes
• Interviewing skills for sales positions and with customers
• Selling and coaching skills, problem solving
• Ability to participate in group projects or activities that can result in new ideas that generate or enhance short-term results
• Ability to multi-task
• Effective written and verbal communication skills across various technologies at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of the hospitality and healthcare market preferred
• Knowledge of the cleaning chemical industry is an asset
• Must possess a very pronounced bias for action
• Ability to travel extensively, up to 50%
