ARIZONA BOARD OF EXECUTIVE CLEMENCY
The mission of the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency is to protect public safety and contribute to a fair and effective justice system by ensuring that persons who remain a threat to society remain incarcerated and those who no longer present a risk are released to become productive citizens.
OPERATIONS BUSINESS MANAGER

Annual Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 Depending on Experience
Grade: 23
This position will remain open until filled
The Operations Business Manager will work closely with and assist the BOEC Executive Director with the daily operation functions of the board and guide the daily workflow strategy and organization of all essential Board business processes.
This will include ensuring that the board complies with all ADOA policies regarding accounting, inventory, reporting, and other operational requirements.
Additionally, the Operations Business Manager will assist the Executive Director with process improvement, scheduling and when appropriate, conducting staff and board training, assist with legislative and policy responsibilities, public records requests and general office management responsibilities.
Position may include other duties as needed.
• Producing reports required by ADOA, statute, and grants
• Overseeing Budget and spending, ordering supplies
• Assisting with the Board hearing calendar
• General operations including inventory
• Other job related duties as assigned
Knowledge:
• State budgeting, procurement, inventory
Skill:
• Organized, self starter, team player
Ability:
• To work independently with high accuracy and follow through
• 5 years working with budgets or a Bachelor's Degree in a finance related field
• Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver license record checks, required to maintain acceptable driving records and complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11)
• Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment
