The Missouri Department of Agriculture, Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority (MASBDA) has a full-time position located in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Job Location: 1616 Missouri Blvd, Jefferson City, MO
Salary Range: $80,000-$85,639.00

MASBDA was created to support the advancement of agriculture in Missouri by providing financial assistance to both farmers and ranchers as well as small agribusinesses.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, direct, and interpret statutes, as well as write, review, and edit rules and guidelines for MASBDA programs.
- Prepare, review, analyze, and oversee financials and budget.
- Interview, hire, and train new employees.
- Establish and maintain relationships with MASBDA board of directors, staff, department officials, legislators, and agricultural groups.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the MASBDA staff.
- Testify at legislative hearings and speak at events.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in agriculture, dairy production, food science and nutrition, or related biological sciences AND a minimum of four (4) years of administrative experience in the field of agriculture, health or related area of expertise.
Master's Degree Preferred
