This is a Continuous posting that will remain open for 90 days or until the position is filled.
Selected candidate will work with the Division Administration and Finance Officer; Bureau Chiefs, Supervisors and Administrative Staffs; and Administrative Services Division to process Division contracts from initiation to final payment, assist in completion of payroll corrections and provide administrative support.
Incumbent's key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) reviewing correctness of contract template; scope of work/budget and obtaining corrections from program staff; verifying funding; obtaining internal approvals; preparation and submission of contract package; reviewing invoices and certification of work completed for accuracy; entering payment voucher/tracking payments; filing/logging of agreements; preparing monthly list of agreements to be initiated (not yet encumbered); and consulting with Department legal counsel and administrative services. Incumbent will provide back-up phone answering as needed.

Bachelor¿s Degree in procurement-related or finance-related field or experience as noted below. Two (2) years of experience using business and management principles related to contracting or similar processes. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel. Computer use.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Possible exposure to irate clientele. Some statewide travel may be required. Incumbent will work under stress and frequent time constraints. Must have own mode of transportation for work-related travel.
