This is a state employee position 34004286 governed by the Civil Service Rules, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The annual salary for this position is up to $80,000, based on education and experience.\r\n\r\nPosition Summary: \r\nThe Stakeholder Engagement Manager is integral to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority’s (OMMA) contact with the medical marijuana industry. This position will influence policy, practice and communication with the industry and other key stakeholders.� This person will inform, communicate, consult and engage with key stakeholders, namely commercial licensees, patients, physicians, and other industry professionals. The Stakeholder Engagement Manager will identify existing barriers to the effective engagement of our key stakeholders and develop communication and engagement initiatives that enable increased stakeholder satisfaction.\r\nPosition Responsibilities /Essential Functions\r\n• Develop a stakeholder engagement plan that links to OMMA’s overall strategic plan objectives that identifies the specific requirements of each stakeholder group \r\n• Establish relationships with key stakeholders that meets the needs of each party and agreed upon outcomes. \r\n• Maintain stakeholder relationships once established through regular communication activities as identified with each stakeholder or stakeholder group\r\n• Build capacity and knowledge of each key stakeholder to ensure effective communication outcomes by clearly defining lines of communication \r\n• Maximize stakeholder opportunities to say what they want and to provide information and feedback\r\n• Engage stakeholders at the most direct level and ensure that level is appropriate for the purpose \r\n• Strengthen engagement capabilities and identify the gaps and weaknesses \r\n• Identify and where possible, understand stakeholder issues, interests, aspirations and concerns to better define what matters most \r\n• Effectively manage the expectations of stakeholders by being clear about what is negotiable and what is set in stone\r\n• Provide information and analysis to the Director and other area Directors that is accurate, sound and relevant through an agreed process \r\n• In conjunction with the Director of Planning and Engagement, develop an action plan resulting from engagement initiatives that improves communication outcomes \r\n• Review on a monthly basis performance against key performance indicators (KPI’s) and implement strategies to meet objectives.\r\n• Establish and implement organizational policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, in conjunction with management and staff as applicable. \r\n• Attend meetings, provide presentations, and serve as a representative for the OMMA when asked \r\n• Prepare and present verbal and written reports to the OMMA Leadership Team and Management team as required.\r\n• Manage and oversee the planning and implementation of conferences, listening sessions, and other engagement opportunities\r\n• Adhere to and plan according to specific budgets for events\r\nOther Duties: \r\n• Demonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior. \r\n• Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers. \r\nValued Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\r\n• Strong organizational skills\r\n• Ability to be flexible\r\n• Ability to multi-task\r\n• Excellent written and oral communication skills\r\n• Ability to problem solve, and work within resources available\r\n• Strong leadership skills\r\n• Ability to work independently, and be a self-starter\r\n• Willingness and ability to learn rules and regulations, and stay current on changes that affect the agency\r\n• Knowledge of managing projects and large initiatives\r\n• Analytical skills\r\n\r\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment\r\n• This position is set in an office environment.� While performing the duties of the job, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, lift, and reach.� \r\n\r\n�\r\n\r\n�\r\n\r\n \r\n�\r\n�\r\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, public administration, health or behavioral health related field with four to six years of total experience in corporate development, business development, management \r\n� consulting, project management, or corporate strategic planning.\r\n• Preferred Qualification: Master’s Degree.\r\n
