Job Description
The Project Executive has responsibility for all aspects of the State’s implementation of its ERP system. This includes overseeing the ERP integration vendor, leading the State ERP team, serving as the primary point of contact to state business owners. The Project Executive reports directly the State Chief of IT for Applications who reports to the State CIO.
The Executive Sponsor will provide the following:
- Ensure the State’s strategic plan are aligned with the ERP project implementation
- Primary manager/point of contact to ERP project team and integration vendor. Primary system integration vendor responsibilities include:
Creation/definition of and operation of ERP program governance (including executive committee meetings and reporting)
ERP implementation planning and execution (incident and problem management, development, systems integration testing, user acceptance testing support, application deployment, post-deployment monitoring)
Oversight of ERP SAS application
- Primary point of contact to business. Including:
Communication and decision making on ERP program governance activities and changes
Communication and oversight of ERP production incidents
Facilitation of decision making for ERP application SAS release planning
Support and oversight of business/agency IT staff that support ERP project.
Oversight of ERP IT related vendor contracts
Strategic advisor to business on ERP program management.
- Owner for ERP State IT activities and team which includes:
Establish and manage State side ERP implementation team
Oversight of ERP SAS application
Oversight of ERP SAS application release planning and execution
Oversight of ERP incident and problem management
Oversight of ERP user acceptance testing
Advisory and reporting into DoIT leadership team for all ERP matters (application management, vendor management, contracts,
procurement, staff management)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
