This position is located at our Family Center in Rock Hill, SC., serving schools within the York County / Rock Hill School Districts.
 

Under the general supervision of the CAF or School Based Services Supervisor, employee will provide therapeutic and emergency services to Child and Adolescent clients and their families. Will also ensure frequent interaction with other community agencies and maintain positive professional relationships.
 
 Provide advanced medically necessary clinical services, including but not limited to, assessment, individual, family & group therapy & crisis intervention services to a targeted population of  Child and Adolescent clients and their families (CAF).  Services may be provided in the clinic, in the client’s school home, or other community setting.
 
 Responsible for case management services for assigned caseload. These services include: referrals, advocacy, interagency staffings, and coordinating care between agencies/service providers as appropriate.
 
 Formulate recovery based plans of care with person centered goals and objectives. Conduct timely reviews and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
 
 Attend and participate in Treatment Team meetings/staffings, including staffing with MD at CCMHC. Pursue continuing education and training. Maintain positive professional relationships with MHC staff, and community agencies, as well as, clients and their families.  Work to overcome the stigma of mental illness and mental health services by providing education, training and support services to the community at large.
 

Perform other duties as requested.


 Employee must perform all job duties and provide all services and documentation in compliance with CARF, SCDMH, CCMHC, Quality Assurance, Compliance, HIPAA, Transcultural, and Productivity Standards, Policies and Procedures.




Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences,
 
 
 

Min. Internal T&E:Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences, and one (1)year of experience in a clinical counseling program preferred.

 Catawba CMHC is also an approved site of the National Health Service Corps, (NHSC), which offers student loan repayment of up to $50,000 to employees of NHSC - approved sites.
