Responsibilities of the Program Coordinator II:
- Supervise staff to include preparing performance planning and evaluation documents and related personnel paperwork. Coaches, counsels and trains employees. Establish and monitors work processes. Implement management policies and initiatives and promotes teamwork.
- Oversee the operations of their county office to ensure adherence to state and local statutes as well as program policies and procedures, which includes case management, investigations, court attendance and documentation according to National CASA standards.
- Coordinate training for GAL volunteers according to program guidelines. GAL volunteers will receive 12 hours of continuing education yearly.
- Ensure that office processes are followed related to case assignments, data entry and timely documentation per GAL/DCA standards. Cases will be audited per GAL standards. Ensure staff maintain confidentiality related to HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform direct child advocacy as the court appointed Guardian ad Litem when there is an Inadequate pool of volunteers to serve in this capacity.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
