Stately Doors & Windows, a prominent company specializing in luxury doors and windows with a focus on strategic acquisitions, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for a candidate with extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and advanced skills in Excel to lead financial analysis and drive financial excellence in support of our growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial analysis and reporting activities, leveraging advanced Excel skills to analyze complex financial data, prepare detailed reports, and develop sophisticated financial models.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP principles in all financial activities, including financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and financial compliance.
- Oversee financial due diligence processes for acquisition activities, evaluating financial statements, conducting financial forecasts, and analyzing financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support budget development, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Drive financial integration efforts during acquisition processes to consolidate financial systems, streamline financial processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting post-acquisition.
- Conduct in-depth financial research and analysis on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members, providing training and knowledge-sharing to enhance financial analysis capabilities and foster professional growth.
- Experience with Monthly Accounting Close processes for financial reporting, including bank reconciliation.
- AR/AP review .
- Inventory adjustments including work-in-progress (WIP).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills, leadership abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
