IT HELPDESK MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

Seeking an innovative and motivated candidate to help make effective use of technology. This position is responsible for the design, maintenance, and day to day operational support of Station’s network and its security. You will be working with Operations in charge of the entire internal IT systems, devices and cloud-based applications. This position is based in downtown Long Beach, California.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Perform tasks including, but not limited to, systems software installation and upgrades, workstation setup (PC and Mac), antivirus updates, and patch management.
  • Troubleshoot PCs, Mac, servers, and application issues.
  • Maintain software and hardware inventories.
  • Keep track of the software updates and deploy to workstations as needed.
  • Manage data architecture of designated systems. Define documents and maintain all systems interfaces as related to designated systems.
  • Ensures IT security design, controls, and processes are aligned with Information Security policies and standards.
  • Provide operational support and analysis for the organizations information systems and peripheral equipment, such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
  • Manage device loaning process with the office administration.
  • Co-lead the projects aiming to obtain certifications and enhance compliance; company is in the process of obtaining SOC 2.
  • Set up emergency backup and disaster recovery plans
  • Set up the trouble and query intaking process using the existing ticketing system (JIRA)
  • Participate in special IT projects and other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure (routing/switching), cloud networking security, and proxy services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of information security concepts and technologies, such as networking, network segmentation, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IPS/IDS, network analyzers, data loss prevention, security event management, encryption technologies, proxies, cloud services, mobile devices, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly English.
  • Proficiency with a variety of Windows operating systems and software, including Office365, Outlook and multiple browsers.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot network printing and wireless issues.
  • Quick response to all internal members
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously with varying degree of complexities and timelines.
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.

DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Experience with process of obtaining SOC 2 compliance
  • Experience in a startup company
  • Experience in cybersecurity & data recovery methods

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent job experience required.
  • 4-6 years of related experience or a combination of education/experience.
  • Must have leadership ability, have initiative and be resourceful.

WORK LOCATION:

  • Long Beach, CA

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Salary: $75k-$105k based on experience
