The CRM Marketing Specialist must have prior experience in email marketing. Intermediate skier/rider preferred. Resume required.
Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
- Establish and grow consumer relationships and lifetime value by developing and executing CRM campaigns
- Effectively plan, develop, segment, and execute Steamboat's email strategy, with focus on pre-arrival emails, confirmation emails, pass holder emails, and more
- Build a brand relationship with current and future guests through interesting, engaging, and inspiring email content
- Work with Analytics, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing Managers to optimize email creative, schedules, segments, and approach based in guest and business data
- Ensure email creative and messaging is consistent across other channels including website, app, social media, paid media and PR through collaboration and in some cases, by making updates independently
- Use Adobe Analytics, Inntopia, and Acoustic platforms to assess, schedule, and develop emails, in partnership with Analytics Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:
- 2-4 years' work experience, with CRM platform - IBM Acoustic preferred
- Strong project management, organization, messaging and written and verbal communication skills
- Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standards.
- Exceptional communications skills
- Strong ability to prioritize
- Experience with customer relationship management - specifically in developing messaging and designing assets
Physical Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Lift and carry up to 30lb to include backpacks with computer equipment and tools
- Minimum intermediate skiing or riding ability preferred
- Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written. Bi-lingual skills not required, but preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Operate computer for long periods of time
Miscellaneous information:
- This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
- Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat area base hourly pay range: $26.00- $28.50 per hour
Pay is determined based of of experience an certifications.
