Overview:
Steeda is searching for an Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our team. Steeda is the leading Ford vehicle aftermarket performance parts manufacturer and retailer with over three decades in business. We have an opening for a knowledgeable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual who works well with strict due dates and enjoys the camaraderie of a hard-working team!
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Head Accountant and VP of Operations to ensure all accounts are paid on time and no clients are delinquent.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by collecting and sorting documents and related information.
- Prepares, verifies, schedules, and pays invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts of insufficient payments.
- Processes customer refunds after verifying return authorizations with the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting transactions.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments.
- Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
- Ready and willing to take on new tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in Accounting.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or similar, a plus.
- Experience with QuickBooks, a plus.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar inventory management system, a plus.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
