Our expanding law firm is looking for an experienced Georgia estate planning attorney. This role requires a highly analytical applicant with excellent organizational abilities who is available to work full time.
You will prepare documents such as wills, trusts, advance directives for health care, and powers of attorney. This role carries a great deal of responsibility and seeks to eliminate questions regarding how an estate should be planned and managed.
Our ideal candidate will have extensive estate planning knowledge, be a qualified attorney, and have excellent communication abilities.

- Advise clients regarding retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options
- Create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for your clients
- Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current
- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
- Advise and assist clients with funding their trusts
- Conduct Signing Ceremonies
- Answer questions from clients and their fiduciaries regarding the impact of and real-world application of their estate plan
- Great communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
- Understanding of a variety of real estate matters, including title insurance, wills and trusts, property management, and litigation
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently while handling a full caseload
- Positive attitude and willingness to help other team members
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and Georgia State Bar member in good standing
- An LLM in Tax from an accredited law school is strongly preferred, but not required
