Position Summary:
To provide prompt, courteous service to guests and familiarize all incoming guests to the Lodge. Establish high standards of conduct to maintain a professional image to our guests. Responsible for the overall satisfaction of our guests.
Essential Functions:
- Welcome guests sincerely and make their stay as enjoyable as possible. Effectively and seriously respond and deal with the guests needs and requests.
- Be fully aware of daily functions in the hotel. Knowledgeable of surrounding area’s attractions and points of interests.
- Assist guests at check-in and checkout. Tag, store, and distribute baggage.
- Orient guests to the Lodge and facilities.
- Show rooms and property to visitors.
- Delivery of items such as faxes, messages, packages, and flowers to the rooms as needed.
- Maintain fires in the fireplaces in the main entrance and main lobby.
- Provide ski and weather information.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional work area (including bell stand, room 11, and entire front entrance in the garage).
- Have working knowledge of PBX console and procedures.
- Respond to all emergency situations, and know all the safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them.
- Be able to quote basic history of the Stein Eriksen Lodge, Deer Valley, and Park City.
- Demonstrate an outgoing and pleasant attitude with all the guests and employees.
- Take all necessary measures to help the guests and fellow employees.
