What are the responsibilities and job description for the Palletizer Operator position at STEMILT GROWERS LLC?
Number of openings: 2 Full-Time, Regular
Department & Location: Palletizing – NDC
Working Shift: Day Shift
Hours & Work Days: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Some weekends required. May vary depending on production.
This position will require a pre-employment drug test.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED); One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Regularly required to stand; walk; reach overhead; climb or balance; stoop; knee; crouch.
- Must regularly lift/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must be able to reach 6 feet 10 inches to place boxes on top layer of pallets.
Other skills and abilities
- Oracle, Telnet, Spotlight reports and PBR Workbench.
Other qualifications:
- Must be able to read, speak and write English.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
