STEPS Behavioral Health of Maryland is looking to hire a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This special education position earns a competitive pay of $70 - $90 hourly or a salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year. We pay our team for time spent both working with clients directly and performing other administrative duties. We also offer great benefits and perks, including health, dental, vision, an individual retirement account (IRA), continuing education unit (CEU) opportunities, and paid time off (PTO) as well as extensive support and training. In addition, we also offer bonus opportunities, including a $1,500 sign-on bonus after 6 months. You get $500.00 dollars after 3 months and the other $1,000 dollars after 6 months. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you make it possible for us to assist more clients during their hard times. With an individualized approach, you create treatment plans for your clients that help them to improve or extinguish undesired behaviors. You work closely with parents, supporting and training them for the benefit of their children. To ensure that the treatment plans you create are carried out correctly, you supervise the therapists and serve as a resource for them. You are proud of the work you do and feel accomplished helping your clients improve their lives!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in a related field such as ABA, special education, or psychology
- Possess BCBA certification
- Experience providing direct care to individuals with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
