Position Overview:
The Payroll Specialist will work with the payroll and accounting teams of a dynamic, high-growth global organization, and will be responsible for administering all aspects of payroll. The Payroll Specialist reports to the Director of Global Payroll and Compensation.
Competencies and Critical Skills:
The Payroll Specialist position is a completely hands-on role. This position requires a detail oriented, proactive and team oriented individual.
Specific Duties Include:
- Processing multi-state payroll on a semi-monthly basis for US employees via UltiPro.
- Enter all data entry for payroll processing or reporting needs.
- Reconcile nonexempt timecards in Ulti Time and attendance module.
- Handle payroll email inbox on all domestic activities 24 hour turn around.
- Calculate and prepare manual paychecks as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll related information.
- Upkeep of documentation of all payroll related items.
- Help with ad hoc reporting and special tasks.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Multi entity experience
- Acute attention to accuracy and detail required.
- Strong organization skills
- Proficient in using Excel
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with multiple entities.
- UltiPro experience
- Accounting background is a plus.
