Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Total Maintenance Program in efficient manner to ensure enhanced quality, maximum productivity and minimal downtime of factory equipment
• Directs, coordinates and actively participates in the efforts of all maintenance, electric, and hydraulic equipment activities within the plant ensuring optimal functionality
• Troubleshoots electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical system issues and timely/expediently resolves any and all issues
• In coordination with Plant Management, plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Actively audit equipment to assess need for service and/or repair to ensure equipment reliability
• Maintain communication with Plant Management to ensure improved employee safety, productivity, quality, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness
• Perform routine daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance regularly on production and facility equipment
• Train others in proper techniques and schedules to ensure consistently improving efficiency in processes and equipment while fostering teamwork
• Implement and effectively maintain parts inventory for equipment within scope of job function as well as all machine maintenance logs
• Ensure factory complies with OSHA requirement and regulations
• Other tasks as assigned by Plant Management

Qualifications:

• Preventative Maintenance experience preferred
• Proven problem solving and process management abilities
• 3 years experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician in a production environment
• Must have demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical production equipment and associated pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuits at the component level
• Strong sense of urgency to follow through meeting deadlines and commitments
• Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised and exceed expectations
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other schematics
• Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
• Must be available for on call support of factory equipment

Job Details:

Salary: up to $70K commensurate with experience

$1k sign on bonus

Schedule: M-F 6:30-3:30pm or as directed/Sat as needed

Job Type: Full-time
