We are seeking a Cashier with a great attitude and love for customer service. Our ideal candidate has solid mathematical and computer skills and can multitask effectively in our busy Service and Parts departments. Previous work experience taking payments, preparing invoices, and balancing registers are helpful. We need a ready and willing candidate who will provide excellent customer service and communication skills to interface with our customers, accounting team, and service technicians.
What You'll be Doing:
- Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system and collects payments from customers in the form of cash, checks, or credit cards
- Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner
- Schedule service appointments for customers using the dealership's scheduling system
- Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution
- Operate switchboard telephone system
- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
- Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees
- Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Basic computer skills are necessary
- Available to work some Saturdays
- Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management and personnel
- Professional personal appearance
- Works well with others and is a team player
- Able to complete tasks without direct supervision
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment background and drug screen
