Your Key Responsibilities:
Leading the Cookie Crew: Guide and mentor a team of 12 mechanics across 3 shifts, ensuring efficiency in our high-speed baking and packaging lines.
Recipe for Reliability: Develop and implement scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance plans to keep our cookie magic alive.
Team Baker: Oversee hiring, workforce planning, scheduling, and employee development to maintain a strong and cohesive team.
Safety First: Promote a safe working environment and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards.
Innovative Ingredients: Participate in capital projects aimed at enhancing our baking and packaging capabilities.
Troubleshooting Wizard: Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues to maintain seamless cookie production.
What We’re Looking For:
Core Requirements: BS/BA/AAS degree or Maintenance certifications are advantageous.
Experienced Leader: 2 years in manufacturing maintenance leadership, preferably within the food packaging industry.
Technical Expertise: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical breakdowns, with a strong ability to coach and mentor your team.
Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Proactive Problem Solver: Demonstrates a positive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
Industry Background: Previous experience in food, consumer products, high-speed packaging, or similar high-speed manufacturing environments.
