Key Responsibilities
- Lead standard cost accounting reviews for materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate inventory reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements, driving our financial success.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, covering bank accounts, inventories, fixed assets, and liabilities.
- Collaborate with external auditors, providing essential information during audits.
- Innovate by evaluating and recommending improvements to processes, policies, and systems, with a special focus on SOX compliance.
- Organize and execute cycle counts and annual physical inventory, ensuring precision and accountability.
- Deliver insightful product margin reports and analysis.
- Take on additional related duties that contribute to our overall success.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Willing to commit to work onsite 5 days per week in a Team environment!
- In-depth knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles.
- Experience in enhancing processes, policies, and systems, particularly related to SOX compliance.
- Proficient with accounting software and ERP-based financial systems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
