What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Carpenter position at STIER SUPPLY COMPANY?
Stier Supply Company is looking for ENTRY LEVEL CARPENTERS who know BASIC CARPENTRY SKILLS in the construction industry. Our entry level carpenters are responsible for the install of base board and shoe moldings as well as assisting in the installation of exterior doors in new residential homes. Based on your skill and competency level, we will also provide a brief in-house training program for new hires.
Starting pay: $15-$20 based on experience (you will also be placed on our internal progression as you grow your skill set)
Carpenters will become proficient in the following areas:
- Operating equipment such as: nail guns, saws, drills, and other tools as required.
- Reviewing and implementing work orders.Inspect work sites to determine needed improvements
- Maintaining clean and safe work environment.
- Installation and/or Adjustment of Exterior and Interior doors
- Installation of Door and Bath Hardware
- Installation of Shoe Molding
- Replace or Repair Interior Trim.
- Be able to Lift 50 lbs of material repetitively
