What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Stimson Job Board?
Responsibilities:
- Pulling lumber off the line
- Stacking
- Sticker setting
- Packaging lumber for shipment; applying bar codes,
- Sweeping, shoveling, general clean-up of the work area
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs., stand up to 10 hours a day, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, stoop and bend at the waist, and move equipment as needed
- Perform repetitive work for 10 hours a shift.
- Must be comfortable in year-round outdoor temperatures, in loud conditions, with airborne particles (sawdust), and working around moving mechanical equipment.
- Move quickly, consistently and safely to keep up with the current flow of production.
- Team player and highly self-motivated individual.
