What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boba Barista/ Kitchen Help position at STIX?
STIX is a small restaurant selling delicious Korean corndogs and boba drinks. We are located in the Sunset District. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, responsible person to join our team! No experience required, as long as you’re eager to learn.
STIX Team Members must:
- Be FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS to all customers (ex. Saying ‘Thank You’ when giving out orders)
- Provide EXCELLENT customer service
- Have no task is too big or small” mentality
- Handle food safely and follow health codes and guidelines
- Prepare food consistently based on recipes and SOPS
- Work well in a team setting
- Have ability to multi-task efficiently
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Keep work area clean, sanitized, organized
- Be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds
Other requirements:
- Must have Food Handlers Card or willing to get one
- Must be responsible, always on time, and prioritize cleanliness
- Flexible schedule and open to covering shifts if needed
Responsibilities:
- Make boba drinks and tea
- Fry corn dogs and prepare the batter
- Food Prep
- Keep work areas clean, organized and sanitized
- Side work
- Daily cleaning tasks - mop, sweep, wipe clean, etc…
- Dishwashing
- Helping customers
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
