Purpose of the Position: 

  • Execute high-quality static and video content optimized for social distribution for one of STNs largest clients

    • Content types include but are not limited to, short videos, sizzle reels, GIFs, memes, animations, motion graphics and illustrations, video templates, long-form videos, templated static graphics and more.

  • Support the Social and Accounts teams with long term and quick turn client asks

  • Contribute and work as part of a fast-paced team by adapting to necessary tools and roles within the Creative Department, including traveling on-site to support live editing for productions


Job Type:

Full-Time, Remote (San Diego Based a Plus but not Required)

The typical pay range for this is $50,000-$70,000. 

  • Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
  • The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.


Primary Duties Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Daily:

  • Execute Creative: Provide error-free deliverables and creative solutions

    • KPI: Meeting STN standards of creating high quality creative.

  • Manage & Deliver Assigned Projects: Stay organized and self-disciplined, with an ability to multi-task and consistently hit deadlines

    • KPI: Consistently manage workload and meet deadlines.

  • Clear Communication: Communicate ideas and problems effectively. Incorporate internal and client feedback as necessary

    • KPI: Work collaboratively with Accounts and Creative teams and appropriately incorporate feedback in a timely manner

  • Adapt, Modify, and Create Toolkits & Templates: Effectively work off of and uphold pre-created brand/style guides. Develop and create templates to pass to client or other designers that meet STN standards and organization

    • KPI: Output is consistent with the quality of branding. Templates match STN standard and organization.

    • Weekly:

  • Stay up to date on social media, sports and entertainment trends

    • KPI: Clear grasp of industry trends through creative recommendations on what’s trending and how STN should drive creative for our clients, as shown through creative concepts

  • Assist Creative and Accounts teams with ideating concepts for clients as capacity allows

    • KPI: Innovative, high-quality and original ideas are being prepared for the client while staying within overall strategy and budget. Constantly pushing the limits of creative ideation

    • KPI: Accounts teams needs are met to ensure timely delivery to client.

    • Monthly:

  • Adapt to the frequently changing industry by learning new design and motion related skills and/or tools

    • KPI: Learn and experiment with new program, skills, or tools during team’s weekly creative exploration

  • Travel on-site to a variety of productions to assist with live editing

    • KPI: Complete on-sites and remote live coverage assignments with a can-do and positive attitude while meeting client deadlines



    • Qualifications: 

    • Expert in Adobe Suite: primarily Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator

    • Video editing, color correction, and sound design capabilities

    • Knowledge of visual effects such as compositing, motion tracking, and roto-scoping

    • 2D animation capabilities with basic understanding of 3D as well

    • Keen eye for design and layout

    • Ability to understand style guides and execute templates work

    • Visual storytelling capabilities

    • Social Media-minded and focused, in depth understanding of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, & TikTok

    • Ability to work efficiently, and manage time and priorities to meet deadlines

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in teams or work independently

    • A clean and high quality visual aesthetic with a focus on precision and detail

    • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
