Description
Well made vehicle harnesses can make or break a mission. As an Avionics Integration Technician your role will be a fundamental part of the production process for the avionics system. You will be responsible for the delicate work of producing custom harnesses to the exacting specifications required. You should be comfortable with the tooling and processes around aerospace grade wiring harnesses and be comfortable operating and maintaining both hand and automatic harnessing tools. You should be a leader and act as the final check on engineering designs – your feedback will be invaluable.
Responsibilities
Assemble vehicle harnesses
Test harnesses using conventional testing methods such as continuity and hi-pot testing
Monitor inventories of parts
Will program and operate automated wire stripping and crimping equipment
Qualifications
Highly experienced terminating D38999 connectors, D-SUB, and working with ETFE / PTFE cable.
Should be familiar with hi-pot testing and continuity testing of cable assemblies
1 year experience soldering, crimping, testing, and assembly of wiring harnesses
