Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installs, tests, and repairs security systems.
- Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices.
- Inspect teams’ workmanship
- Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required.
- Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
- Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Travel may be required.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of related work experience required
- On-the-job training may be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
- Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Physically able to install system hardware and wiring.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. at a time.
Benefits:
- Medical Insurance – monthly premium is 100% company-paid for employee and employee’s family (if applicable). There is a maximum $3,000 HRA per year for deductible/copay/pharmacy-related expenses in addition to the monthly premium.
