StoneGate Senior Living in Lewisville, TX is actively searching for a Jr. Network Administrator to work in our Corporate Office in Lewisville, TX. This is an on site position.
As the Jr. Network Administrator - Support Associate at StoneGate Senior Living in Lewisville, TX, you will be responsible for hardware and software support calls, PC repairs, computer builds and new system setups while being trained in Network Administration (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VoIP), VoIP phone system design, implementation, and administration. Other duties include hardware and software support calls, PC repairs, computer builds, new system setups, network cabling, and working on call.
The Jr. Network Administrator will provide network, phone system, and desktop support to user environment as well as consultations to management about needed improvements, upgrades, new products, and projects. Also, other duties and projects will be assigned by management personnel.
This position provides customer service to our internal and external customers and end users. Position requires attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, and communication skills.

Preferred Job Requirements

- Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
- Resolving problems with networks and other computer systems
- Diagnosing system errors and other issues
- College level coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology or strongly related major
- Support of network administration
- Support of desktop and laptop Computers
- Supporting VoIP and Phone system
- Must be willing to work on call
- Following up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues
- Requesting feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve training methods
- Installing or changing software to fix issues
- Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problems
- Support of desktop and laptop Computers
- Printer installation and repair
- Supporting Microsoft Network Operating Systems
- Support of computer hardware issues for 100 computers
- Desktop Support/Technical Support/Help Desk responsibilities
- Remote desktop support
- Exp with MS Office 365
- Exp installing and troubleshooting software (i.e., Adobe Acrobat, MS Office suite)
- Documenting IT issues in ticket tracking system (Samanage / SolarWinds Service Desk)
- Working knowledge of WDS for Imaging systems
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Associates or higher degree in computer related education preferred
- Working knowledge of Lan/Wan networking

- Technical certifications: CCNA, N , MS, Cisco
