As a Stonerise Infection Preventionist, you will work with center personnel to limit the spread of disease. This will include implementing general policies to protect patients and care providers, as well as consulting in specific cases where there are concerns. You will serve public health interests by implementing disease outbreak intervention procedures in affected areas of the center, and by notifying the appropriate public health authorities in the event of an outbreak. You will also collect, record, and analyze hospital records and lab reports to assess the extent of the outbreak to make appropriate recommendations. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

- Developing policies and procedures for the prevention and control of infectious or communicable diseases within the center.
- Assisting in the development of the content and scope of the employee health program and disseminating current information on health practices to all employees.
- Developing policies and procedures for techniques and systems of identifying infections within the center.
- Notifying appropriate government agencies of contagious or infectious diseases.
- Developing policies and procedures for the care of patients who have contagious, infectious, or communicable diseases.
- Monitoring the health status of all employees, ensuring that all personnel receive appropriate skin tests, chest x-rays, physicals, etc.
- Ensuring infection control orientation and in-service training programs are provided to employees on a timely basis.

Full-Time, Exempt
Education, Licensure Certification Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of WV
- Bachelor's degree required
- Three (3) years of managerial experience
- Must have IP certification
