At Storm Smart, our success depends on people, productivity, and procedures. The warehouse lead is a supportive force in each of these areas, and we’re currently seeking someone stellar to take the reins in the West Palm Beach, FL location. This position will store and process orders, products and service. This position will oversee the receiving and processing of incoming and outgoing stock, staging orders and will be required to maintain the integrity of an organized warehouse and manufacture components to be used in the installation and assembly of our Shutter and Screen Products.
Main Responsibilities:

Power tools Cut, punch, fab and assemble material need for change orders or modifications for an installation Stage Screens and make sure the whiteboards are labeled with the job name and contract number.

Maintain the integrity of the whiteboards to ensure screens can be found quickly and in the right locations.

Receive all panels, Lexan, Aluminum and Steel panels. Stage them and have their locations and data to be found quickly and easily retrieved for jobs.

Receiving of materials/Check in of Materials. Create a spreadsheet to identify where items are located.

Stock/Locate materials in proper bin and location.

Stage materials needed for service techs and installers.

Assist Installers in locating and retrieving parts.

Ability to run cycle count reports and perform cycle counts and inventory as required.

Drive, Deliver and communicate with installers for materials need to complete installation,

Must accomplish daily 5S checklist/general housekeeping.

Ability to always leave equipment and storage in good standing.

Overtime and Weekend work as needed.
Required Skills / Abilities:
-
Leadership and mentoring skills
-
Equivalent experience with minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.

Materials and Lean experience preferred.
-
Strong data handling and computer skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint
-
Strong communication skills: both verbal and written.
-
Supplier relationship background with functional experience using any ERP System.

Must be a self-starter/motivated Great work ethic and organizational skills.

Must have the ability work independently, efficiently and be able to work with and assist fellow team members in all departments.

Must be flexible (hours) and willing to help cover vacation days in the department

Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
-
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
-
3-5 years of warehouse experience
-
Experience in Acumadica, Excel, and Word
-
Supervisory experience with strong emphasis on building a strong team.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
