What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at STORY?

Do you enjoy sharing messages with audiences using modern methods that rely on data to measure its success? We are looking for a full-time, local Greenvillian to join our small but growing team.
You Will:
- Take sitemaps and page description diagrams from outlines to effective websites through design and strategy.
- Design landing pages, banner ads, graphics and media that champion marketing goals, client brands and implement UI/UX best practices.
- Apply your knowledge of layout and navigation, color and typography, design principles, mobile-first design, design software, and HTML, CSS, or JQuery (optional).
- Implement copywriting and finished assets (photos, videos, etc.) into layouts
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Accounts teams to fulfill contract deliverables and execute marketing plans through creative media.
- Ask direct questions, listen actively, and present your designs to others with professional advice while accepting constructive criticism.
- Always be learning new tools, software systems, and technologies.
- Be responsible for digital retouching and image editing.
- Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research techniques and testing activities to assess user behavior.
- Perform tests, along with the Marketing team, on user interface elements such as CTAs, layouts, target links, landing pages and banners.
- Understand product specifications and user psychology and predict what might work for both.
- Utilize agency tools and productivity platforms to stay organized and meet deadlines.
- Help build the agency, not just work at one.

You Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a design-related field.
- 3 years of experience working in web design, digital design, marketing, or similar.
- The ability to multitask across different accounts and projects while maintaining a team player mentality.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create beautiful, effective designs.
